amelia's favorites

Well February came and went. Time obviously got away from me. As most of you know from Instagram- Amelia is now six months old! This is such an exciting time for us. I mean, she's always had a very distinct personality, but now she's definitely showing it off! This little lady LOVES to play and learn. She has such an inquisitive nature and loves to get her hands on anything around her and study it. Here are a few things that keep my happy little lady content at the moment:

1. 'Indestructibles' - these books are PERFECT for your teething little ones. They can be chewed on, slobbered on, crinkled up and they only look better with time. The best part- as their name states they are INDESTRUCTIBLE and 100% safe from any tears! They offer a variety of titles and each one has the best graphics. These can be found virtually anywhere from Barnes and Noble to Amazon and for just under a whopping $5 (I KNOW!) who couldn't afford to fill their entire library with these?!

2. This darling handmade Sasquatch from my good friend Heather (@elheathero). This is seriously Amelia's best friend. He is a heavy favorite in our house and we never leave without him. I only wish this lady had an etsy shop because she is one of the most talented crafters I know!

3. Personalized teether from Little Sapling Toys on Etsy. For only $12 your baby can have this safe, Eco friendly, USA made teether to represent the state nearest and dearest to your heart. In Amelia's case mommy was a rambler so we chose daddy's home state of California. The best part about these amazing teethers is that, not only do you receive free shipping, but they plant a tree for every item sold! Hooray for helping the planet!

4.FINGER PUPPETS!! It is insane to me how entertained she is by these crazy things! I swear- the second she sees one she starts cracking up like she was at an Aziz Ansari comedy show. The best part is that they are, like, the cheapest things on the planet. And they're EVERYWHERE. Michael's, Ikea, Target...name a place- it probably has finger puppets.

5. Infantino Monkey Teether. We will call this the cousin of the Sophie the Giraffe teether and at only $13  you can mosey on over to your nearest Target and pick up this much cheaper, but just as lovable, version of your favorite teether!

I would love to hear what all your little ones enjoy playing with!

  2. Love this post! I'm definitely going to check out the wooden teethers :) If your friend ever starts a etsy shop let us all know :)

Josephine mostly plays with household objects. She loves my insurance card and a empty zico bottle.
